Data Retention Policy

1. Retention Principles

LinkShield retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

2. Specific Retention Periods

• Client Engagement Data: Retained for the duration of the contract plus 7 years to comply with tax and legal liabilities.
• Security Logs (Internal): Retained for 12 months for forensic analysis and threat hunting.
• Marketing Data: Retained until you withdraw consent or opt-out.

3. Secure Disposal

Upon expiration of the retention period, or upon a valid deletion request, electronic data is securely overwritten and cryptographic keys are destroyed. Physical media is shredded in accordance with strict physical security standards.
